PTA FUNDRAISER FOR B/C TRACKS SEPT. 25TH - OCT. 6TH

ATTENTION ALL MUSTANGS! Our fundraiser for B/C tracks started Monday, Sept. 25th and will go through Friday, October 6th! The PTA is asking for any donation, 100% of which will go directly to pay for our children's' educational experiences at Foothills Elementary! Our goal as a school is to raise $15,000. All donations can be made via PayPal on our Foothills Elementary PTA blog (foothillspta.blogspot.com), by check made out to Foothills Elementary PTA, or by donating cash. Please make sure your child's name and teacher are with every donation made. Our B/C track classes with the most donations will receive a popcorn party on Oct. 10th! WE APPRECIATE ALL DONATIONS! WE NEED YOUR HELP IN PROVIDING AMAZING EXPERIENCES FOR OUR STUDENTS AT FOOTHILLS! PLEASE DONATE TODAY!

REFLECTIONS 2017

How are your Reflections entries coming along? Entries are due next Friday Oct. 6th! Remember there are 6 categories- dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Visual arts includes 2D and 3D art.  Find all the rules for each category here http://www.utahpta.org/general-arts-category-rules-pages We will display all the entries for the all the students to see and for the parents on the night of October 25th and 26th during parent teacher conferences.  Everyone who enters will receive a prize and participating in reflections helps you work towards your mustang pride award!  Any questions email angie.haynie@gmail.com.

GREEN RIBBON WEEK

Kickoff for our GREEN RIBBON WEEK is Thursday, Sept. 21st! What is GREEN RIBBON WEEK you ask? It is to emphasize the need for safety on the roads for motorists and pedestrians in school areas. It is a reminder to drivers to stay focused and students to look both ways in the hours before and after school. Let's keep everyone safe! Stay focused and be aware!
