Foothills Elementary School Registration

Registration in Skyward Family Access for the 21-22 school year is happening now. All families need to complete this each year. Registration for school is what actually solidifies the fact that you are coming to Foothills Elementary next year and involves updating addresses, email, emergency contacts, reviewing school policies, etc.

PTA BYLAWS

The PTA Bylaws are rules that help govern how the PTA is run and how it operates. The Bylaws need to be renewed every three years. The Bylaws are currently due to expire on September 1st. Therefore the Bylaws will be voted on, on the morning of Tuesday August 17th. TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK - May 3rd-May 7th

Our "Best Teachers in the World" Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching and will go from May 3rd through May 7th! We so appreciate what our teachers do for each of our students and want to express our heartfelt thanks to each of them!

This year we are giving the students an opportunity to show their gratitude to their teachers in their own creative ways! Encourage your child to write a note, do a kind act, or use their imaginations to come up with their own idea! There are also "favorites" lists available for each teacher. If you have not received an email from your room parent, please reach out to them to find out the "favorites" of your child's teacher. Remember that classroom donations are OPTIONAL, but whatever you and your child choose to do to show appreciation, THANK YOU!

We still need help with door decorations for Teacher Appreciation! We have additional licensed instructors and school helpers that also have doors that need decorating. If you are able to sign-up and volunteer your time on Friday, May 30th, that would be much appreciated! We want to make sure every school teacher, instructor and helper knows how much they are loved! Thank you for all of your generous donations to our Foothills Elementary Angel Tree! We are always amazed at the overwhelming support we receive with this yearly tradition. Especially with the different year we have all experienced, our community still had so much to give! Because of you, we are able to help several families within our school, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Do you know what we love about our Angel Tree? It helps us remember the joy and gratitude that come from both giving and receiving. We are grateful for this tradition at Foothills and are glad we can continue this year even though it looks a little different.

PTA would like to welcome our community to come together and help others this holiday season. We have had the opportunity to hold this event for two years, which has helped over 10 families in our community! With this year being different for us, due to Covid-19, we will be holding the event differently. At this time, we are not able to put individual item requests on the trees for people to purchase. Instead, we will be accepting donations in the form of gift cards to either Walmart, Target, Smiths or Amazon. 2019-2020 Yearbooks

Dear Foothill Mustang Families, Unfortunately, at this time we still haven't received the yearbooks. We have been in communication with our yearbook representative during this time. We receive a weekly update to make sure if there are any changes to the order. Once we receive them we will be getting them out to the students as soon as possible. If you do not attend Foothills at the time we receive them, we are happy to make arrangements to get the book to you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your family.
