Flu Shot Clinic
Reminder: Flu shot clinic at Foothills October 4th 4-7pm. Foothills gets $2.00 per shot and then doubled (so if we make $200 in shots then it is doubled to $400). They can bill Medicaid for those who have it.

for 2016! Help us raise money by sponsoring your student in our BOLD & FREE
CrossFit Challenge! Our CrossFit Challenge is like a Jog-a-thon, but so much
more fun! Instead of running laps, students will participate in six active
& fun activities. Our CrossFit Team will pump them up by showing students
how to be BOLD & FREE by staying active & healthy!
In addition to the great things PTA funds go
toward, this year our goal is to raise enough money to pay for an additional
Mobile Computer Lab!

You can turn in entries to your teacher or to the office.

New School Spirit Wear and First Day Sales
We are excited to offer 2 new styles of spirit wear this year! In addition to the t-shirts we have had in previous years, we will have available for order a baseball-style tee and a hoodie!
On the first day of school (July 26 for A, B, and C tracks and August 15 for D track), we will have our usual style of t-shirt for sale (we will accept cash, check, or credit card).
We will also have a limited number of baseball tees in adult sizes at that time. Order forms for baseball tees and hoodies will be available. These items can also be ordered on our website. The deadline for these orders is September 1. In order for us to get these items delivered before the weather gets too cold (we hope), we will need to place the order at that time and no late orders will be accepted unfortunately. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. **If you have multiple children at Foothills, only one child's name/grade/teacher is necessary.**
D track families, don't worry, we have a separate set of shirts waiting for you. See you in August!

Back to School Morning 2016-2017!
The new school year is already upon us folks! Hopefully all of you got a letter detailing the first day. If not, here are the specifics:
The foothills staff is excited to invite you and your student to our "2016-2017 Back to school Roundup" on July 26 for tracks A, B and C and August 15 for Track D. Students and parents will have an opportunity to visit classrooms for a short presentation covering beginning of the year information. There will be three sessions beginning at 8 AM. Teacher emails are listed on the foothills website. After the classsroom sessions, parents are encouraged to attend a general information meeting with the Principal Mr. Griffith, the assistant princiapal, Dr. Mausbach and the PTA at 9:00 AM in the gym.
Doors open at 7:50 AM
Session 1 8:00 - 8:15 AM
Session 2 8:20 - 8:35 AM
Session 3 8:40 - 8:55 AM
Students line up 9:00 AM
Welcome and PTA general meeting 9:00 AM in the gym

SAFETY FIRST - Drop off and pick up reminders
Just a friendly reminder to parents about drop-off and pick-up rules at the school as more students are being driven to school in the winter months:
- Please ONLY use the roundabout on the North side of the school to drop-off and pick-up students.
- Please pull all the way forward before stopping to drop-off students.
- If you need to watch your student walk into the school, please park in the parking lot and watch from there, or park and accompany your student.
- Do not use the parking lot just to drop students off without parking. This is what the roundabout is for.
- Do not get out of your car in the roundabout. If you need to exit your vehicle to assist children, please park in the parking lot.
- Carpooling with others will help cut down on school traffic, try it!
